The Classic Stages of Loss and Aggression
Most of us will avoid consciously facing and acknowledging lossin it's the form of denial, when we really don't turn our attention towards it for as long as we can get away with it. And then when that falls way, often the way we resist vulnerability is anger. We try to take control and to kind of cover over our insecurity - these are the flags with blaming, judging, dominating, bullying, violating others. Aggression can also be more subtle, and i want to bring that up because for many people it is more subtle. It's the daily ways that when we feel anxious, we try to hold on to a sense of power or agency by controlling others.
