The Rise of SaaS Bonuses

A lot of SaaS companies get themselves into whether they're B2C or B2B and then pivot to be an open platform. All of those things then require a whole new engineering roadmap, which even a firm just simply doesn't have. I've been in a couple of conversations where like wait my bonuses actually spike type of this thing. Do anybody want to do this or should I just go over here and just go done this? That's the kind of stuff that happens when you start moving away from your core business model.
