Is 60-40 a Bad Portfolio?

Vivek Paul, head of portfolio research at BlackRock Research Institute said we're not anticipating performance in 2023 will be as bad as 2022. He suggested adding additional asset classes such as foreign equities, value stocks, and emerging market stocks. A straight up 60% stocks, 40% bonds is a very workable portfolio that has performed well over the long term.
