In 1940, Udo Wartena claimed he was approached near a mine in Montana by a man who wasn’t exactly human. The encounter led him onto a craft and into a conversation about who “they” are and why they’re here.

This episode goes through Wartena’s account, how the story resurfaced decades later, and why researchers keep returning to it. We look at the details he describes, the technology he witnessed, and how his testimony lines up with reports that came long after him.
