The Rightness and Wrongness in the Brain

The rightness in this case is that that feels like fear. That's rightness doesn't mean good or bad. It's just that it feels normal. consciousness opens up a whole new window of information processing, information integration, flexibility of behavioral control and all of those good things. So you have reflexes and automatic responses that get you through most of the day. Sometimes you have to cognitively create a middle model to make a prediction. Or you can do that consciously. And once the why do we have consciousness, we can do it unconsciously.
