The Story of a Documentary Filmmaker

Before working with UX and technology, Donna was an award-winning documentary filmmaker. As user experience and user center design practices evolved, they started to resemble a lot of the practices and tools that she learned as a filmmaker. A lot of great design practices are borrowed from film, because filmmakers for a little over 100 years now have spent a lot of time perfecting the art of engaging an audience using screen-based interfaces.
