What Is Consciousness?

When you begin a practice of consciousness, when you start to become your own witness, then as time goes on, as you continue doing the work, a lot of those dots will begin to connect with you. So really simply, consciousness is awareness. It's being open, it's being receptive to everything that is present in the current moment. We may have an idea of something from our past or some pattern that we're stuck in and how that might show up in our present day. That's just as normal and common as also knowing.
