How Much Carbohydrates Can You Tolerate?
The ability to absorb glucose based carbohydrates is around 60 grams per hour, let's say 60 to 66. Some athletes can absorb even more than 80 grams and some would be absorbing only around like 45 grams per hour. So I think it's probably easier for an athlete to work out how much they can tolerate. And if you like then expand this through the outer like six hour, like Ironman or even six, seven, eight hours,. then you obviously have a problem because sometimes you're under feeling of what can you be actually achieved.
