How to Use a Loss

An accountability partner is the easiest way to create the loss. When it comes to your brain, when you're hiding in isolation and you create secrecy, that will create guilt and shame in your nervous system. Shame creates shame spirals that move you in the wrong direction. To break the shame cycle, you tell somebody else. In the telling of somebody else, it shifts the shame into guilt.
