Vegan Diet - Is There a Difference?
A vegan diet can supply all of the essential nutrients as defined in a textbook. Where it's particularly weak is on issues of how well absorbed are some of those nutrients from certain foods. Some people are great at making metabolic conversions from plants, and other people are terrible at it. And so there's going to be a variation around that. On things that are not classified as essential trent, but are found exclusively in animal foods: carnatine or carnisine, or you name it, from from animal foods.
