The Arch deluxe was a luxury burger that was more expensive than other burgers. McDonald's spent 300 million dollars on market research to make the burger, but it didn't appeal to people because of its price and appearance. The advertising campaign also wasn't very good: kids wouldn't eat it or vomit when they tasted it.
