Is Your Train Doesn't Happen on Island?

I think it's really tough for people who tend to be hyper called a goal oriented in that they want to read quote-unquote success or failure into the train that they're doing. We can go through a couple weeks of training and things are going really well and then we have some a day that's just kind of total crap right? I always encourage my athletes you know one it's not your fault right bad days just happen but to maybe we do want to zoom out like you said your train doesn't happen on island I say your train doesn't happen in a vacuum so if you're trying to compare two runs or two races you have to understand that they take placing completely different
