The first thing guys say in our groups is, well, what happens to kids when there's an abuse of event in the home is they're afraid. They blame themselves. And if we've really searched all this stuff out and acknowledged it, then we're more likely to be aware of it,. We're less likely to go as far down that ad path. But it mans we face our own shame when we really look at that stuff. That takes a lot of courage. It helps if we've looked at our history and we understand our dramas that tringer us. If you do that with your kids and your partner, you make priority that they experience being truly heard and listened to
