What Are Some of the Highlights of MMA?
MMA is the most complex physical sport that there currently is. Athletes are expected to do so many different things to achieve one result. In MMA, you have to be able to do that whilst being kicked and punched. And then on top of that, there's the issue that just before doing this competition, they've reduced their body mass by 10, 12, 14%. So the main thing that we wanted to do with the first half of my PhD study was to actually quantify each of these different types of training that they're doing.
