How to Communicate Randomness in a Multiplayer Game
XCOM 2's randomness is a mystery to players, says designer Charlie Cleveland. The game could have luck mechanic where you can occasionally get a reroll of the die and save for another attack. "We probably wouldn't want to add that" because it would not justify its inclusion, he says.
