David Baker's new book is called "The Art of Being An Advisor" In it, he talks about how to be a good advisor. He says you don't need your clients to like you and that the most important thing for an advisor is speaking the truth. The best advisors are willing to tell people their baby is ugly or just say what needs to be said in order to get results.
