Don't neglect your calves. Get do some calf raises seated standing maybe even think about some plyometric type stuff if that's what your sport requires as well. Try and get at least the base level of strength and a little bit of power in as an athlete or even if you're just kind of plotting along the streets particularly as you get older calf capacity disappears very quickly.
