The cost of not doing user research is that you end up building the wrong thing. It's what I call the infernal cycle of innovation. Service providers or platforms need to advocate for user research and need to also make it part of the services they provide. Can we validate this use case together, really important? Because if everyone that is concerned about a tool can say, okay, great, we're going to do this in this way.
