The Importance of Deep Understanding of the Customer

There's a bit of mad dash into text sales, especially since COVID, but before that as well. People flocked to this like get rich quick type of methodology. I could be selling cars or I could sell sass in my underwear and make just as much money or a lot more. There's no visceral or tactical experience in the field. Granted, it's not scalable to get all your sellers to be able to like spend a couple of years in the customer shoes. But there are many ways that we can simulate and unpack and pull those things out. Some of which we'll cover today to get them to to emotionally feel what our customers are going through.
