Episode notes
Can you believe it's only been two months since Lauren introduced us to Midjourney?! In today's mind-blowing episode, Lauren shares new AI tools she's working with, codes to use to heighten your Midjourney experience, and how creatives can use these tools as an enhancer (and not a replacement). Michelle and Lauren discuss the ethics of AI and how they approach these genuine concerns with compassion and insight. Lauren deVane is the founder of The Bemused Studio, where she was developing strategic brand identities for bad b*tches through dope design, smart strategy, savvy social and most recently, AI. Over the last two and a half years, she's worked with over 60 clients on brands of all types. But because of the ADHD of it all, she's transitioning into educating brand designers about how they can integrate generative AI into their workflows. She spent the last 6 months head first in Midjourney, becoming an expert on this tech that is literally still in beta. Previously, she led creative for Ulta Beauty's social media team, where she worked with celebs like Kylie and Kim, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Millie Bobbie Brown. Lauren has also worked at Walgreens corporate, where she helped start their social media creative team and rebrand the Photo department, and has designed mobile sites for brands like Ulta, The Chicago Fire MLS Team, and Hyatt. ------------------------- In today's episode, we cover the following:
