Donahue, Is There a Multitext of Homa in the Sixth Century?

Donahue: The evidence we have is very incomplete about how fixed the text was in the sixth century. We know, from various things to do with the actual language in it, that it uses mysen and greek quite often. And that it was almost certainly already information by the thirteenth century or the twelfth century. 500 years of people playing around with how should we do the bit where her seduces? I'm developing it, making it better and better. There's quite a lot of evidence that the language itself um because of the way that the greek dialect developed and the missing double noise and so on.
