The Importance of Congo's Resources
Patrice Lumumba was a star in the Congolese Independence Movement. As a young person, he was looked upon as a rebel. He went to Catholic schools and to Methodist schools and was kicked out of both school. The idea that Congo's resources should benefit its people before any other country is at the center of his fight for independence.
