I wrote a whole novel called the measurement problem, which is about the fact that capitalism is really good at rewarding what it can measure. And very often these leadership attributes are things we value that are really, really difficult to measure. So you've got to really make sure that you're that you're measuring what matters, but also that you're aware of the measurement problem.

Kim Scott is one of Silicon Valley’s most respected leadership experts. She has previously worked as an executive at Google, and as a CEO coach with Dropbox, Qualtrics, Twitter and several other leading organizations. She is also the New York Times bestselling author of two top books on leadership, Radical Candor and Just Work.
