Design by committee is a dangerous prospect, because it can often mean we hodge podge together something that hasn't actually been analyzed and thought through. So i do think there is a responsibility for designers to help moderate that process and facilitate that. And if that means educating them, if that means or having them educate us, making it a co creative process, i think is so essential. But yes, it's really important to empower some of those folks to help them make decisions.
