I noticed that mixed people, you know, struggle to connect with their identities and their communities in general. And then I think mixed people who are mixed with white, like also struggle in this way where we don't often feel entitled to learning about our whiteness or we actually feel like it's bad to be connected to our whiteness. So as far as reconnecting to different parts of your identity, feeling like a strong sense of identity, it's important to think about how do I relate to the aspects of my lineage that might be aligned with oppression, right? That might have perpetuated oppression. It's really interesting to think about.
