Can Stories Lead to Truth?

I don't believe that stories are, ah, you know, there'e some scientists, some of my colleagues, really don't like stories. They think it's not genuine. But it is certainly genuine for the individualright? I mean, it's a very live, real experience for that person and we shouldn't take away from that person. So stories can lead us to, i think can definitely inform the science. How can we make stories ring true in a generalizable way? Ecuse that's what science is.
