The Conflict Between Realism and Liberalism

Car was trying to articulate a realism by contrasting it with the liberalism and he had some bitterness about liberalism in general which is either here nor there. Liberal scholars place more of an emphasis on problem solving that disputes between states can be the result of misunderstandings or if not misunderstandings are differences that can be effectively bargained away from each other. i think realists are more prone to see the clash of contrasting interests that are not easily settled so there's kind of problem solving approach to world politics as opposed to a vision of world politics as an unending series of conflicts of interests.
