The Five Elements of the Body
In chinese medicine, there are five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. These also correspond to different organs too such as the liver or heart. When you have a certain element that's stronger, or it's overacting, this can lead to digestive issues in some people. You do have to memorize those associations for each of the elements. And so usually that's helping to understand what the constitution is a, what the proper life style is. But then also that time period too, to have a better understanding, oka, i think we just have a few more gaps to fill in of a very rudimentary understanding of ow.
