How Can I Really Make It?

The Master in his Emissary is a new series on BBC2 at 9pm. This week, Richard Quest meets Frank who used to tip racehorses for money. He found that he could make very good choices - until doubt set in and he thought: how can I really make it? And so he would start saying, he would give outside odds on a certain horse and then he'd go, but how can I know that? Make it two to one or something. Then the horse would win and the bookmakers would say, why didn’t you just stick to your original instinct? But after meeting him they realised there was nothing wrong with what he had been doing.
