These genes and proteins are everywhere, but they can have quite different jobs, depending on the state. IGF-1 is in the green majority of cells, probably not all of them, but let's say the green majority. People that have acromagulae, so they're born with very high levels of IGF-1,. They're not sure lifespan, and they die fairly early from all kinds of problems.
