The Effect of Training Frequency on Muscle Growth

The training frequency literature which is kind of the long-term studies that have compared different training frequencies muscle training frequencies generally they show that muscle training frequency doesn't really matter as long as the total number of weekly sets to failure. When we train three times a week we're going to get a continued anabolic state for the majority of the week with maybe one day the week one more a little bit subdued so physiologic if you were not expecting these two conditions to be kind of the same then it's actually quite surprised by those results.
