The False Binaries of Emotional vs. Rational

Our industry in general is full of so many false binaries it's something that Murray Calder discussed on his episode yeah absolutely. People seem to have extrapolated emotional versus rational as system one versus system two as well and I think my hypothesis for that is people have done that because we are victims of our own system one. We've already got these mental pigeonholes of the emotional versus rational but the true distinction is automatic versus controlled mental processes.
