Is There a Black Belt?
A lot of instructors feel this pressure to walk on to the mat and be the oracle of knowledge. I think, in my opinion, at least, one of the signs of a good black belt is that they're humble about the limitations of their knowledge. They know they don't know everything. And rather than trying to pull an answer out of the hat, whenever some one asks them a question, they will try to coach the person towards the right answer. It's so liberating and freeing when you cand to let go without.
