Focusing Your Attention
Step one is to focus your attention on an anchor in the present moment. It could be your child, it could be your breath or even your hands. Step three is to notice your distraction and bring that back to the present time. And step four is to do some body pump - like lifting a weight. This is when you're pulling that bar bell up again. We all fail at a hundred % full concentration but we have capacity to strengthen our ability to be present. So just be diligent, be compassionate with yourself.
