The Role of NSAIDs in the Emergency Department
NSAIDs are used so often in the emergency department, Dr. Himmel wants to dig a bit deeper into NSAIDs. There's two questions that always come up when it comes to NSAIDs: duration and drug interactions. If you're taking aspirin for coronary artery disease, you have increased risk of gastric rosians even with a small dose. People on aspirin who now are giving NSAID are going to travel GI bleeding and so forth.
