When you focus on what you don't have, you lose what you do have. That phrase helped me this morning when i was focusing on something in work that i haven't done yet or hadn't managed to do. And then i thought, and it's great, because i was researching this conversation, yes, that phrase shapes everything. It instantaneously, instantaneously changed my perspective. I think that quote might be going up on the wall as well. The book is for highly engaged, capable people who are on the edge of exhaustion. But if someone is in that category, as you just described at least, that the message needs to be different.
