The Effects of Rest on Hormonal Cycles
This is a great week to get shit done basically. If you actually rest when your body is telling you to, in this kind of second week of your cycle, you're able to do the things that you didn't have the energy for during this week of the cycle. And what I've definitely found is the times when I push through and don't rest at the very end of my cycle in the first few days of menstruation, I'm exhausted the second week. It's also important to acknowledge while we're talking about periods and hormonal cycles that not every woman has a hormonal cycle.
