The Importance of Immunocompromised Status
There's no objective way to measure your immunocompromised status as in we do blood work and we don't see any significant side opinions. Radiation can suppress the immune system or activate it or maybe not affect it much at all. I think one reassuring thing is that the radiation oncologists really do follow up with their patients frequently and can help us triage some of these side effects.
