I think people kind of underestimate how violent of a pull or a tug that tendons and muscles have on bone. The glutes just aren't they are really important with running but there's certainly other muscle groups that are that are far more important. I mean the best thing you can do when you go for a run rather than worrying about what muscles you're activating is just going for a run, he says. He also advises runners to keep in mind too that strengthening is still very important from an overall musculoskeletal health standpoint as well as cognitive health.
