Brick sessions for sure we would say in triathlon essential to do so yes I would definitely make a difference in between pro and age group athletes because as a pro athlete you've done tons of brick sessions while racing in your life. The big difference for example will be that your carbohydrates stores will definitely differ after one and a half or five hours. So therefore the brick run itself is a completely different brick run after four hour then after one & a half.
