Some researchers seem to be able to have second, third and fourth acts in science despite having been found guilty of misconduct at an earlier institution. Some hiring bodies are either theyare hanstrong because of threats of, or perceived threats of legal jeopardy of asking about a person's past. Or they just are too lazy to check mn do any sort of background work. And you know, youll hat t so had to be right all the time.
