If LPS leaks into the blood from the gut, I think it's initiating thrombosis that is then trying to be directed at the gut. The fibragens circulating the blood are converted to fibrin and they'll try to make coagulation inhibitor proteins to prevent hyper coagulability. This will happen kind of on it's essentially a protective barrier. And this is very obvious if you cut yourself and you're trying to heal a wound. Right? So essentially where the source of the LPS is being treated as if it's a wound kind of, and you are fixing that barrier.
