I like the idea of bodies being in motion because it tends to be easier for us to manage our anxiety when our bodies are moving versus that we're just kind of sitting still. Practicing a grounding activity of some kind in advance of a first date can help you show up more authentically and it can help you tune in. It kind of just arrive on the date with your unique brand of confidence, whatever that looks like for you.
