The Most Exciting Thing About Qualitative Research
I learn so much about black people and myself by talking with them. I have come into the rooms with my biases and you know, and leave there feeling a lot more humbled. So it's so important today as we face this great erasure of our history - but I love that kind of work. It makes sense to put the time and effort into that for shambles. Even though I talk about for years and years, I've been hearing these four words: "I didn't know" And when they say I didn't know, they're closer to knowing and understanding. That's very, very exciting.
