The Odd Things About the Last 24 Hours

I expected Remain to win, but I don't think we can take this as such a surprise. Any number of opinion polls that were taken during the campaign showed that leave was in the lead is very clear from the way the campaign has been conducted. So it's not a shock in that sense of something coming completely out of the blue. It's a political miscalculation that the Prime Minister made when he called the referendum. He staked his career on it and he's lost.
