The fifth strategy of crushing mind with mind is used to suppress hindrances. It's only applied after we've done the first four strategies, and when we already have understood everything. The fourth strategy of investigation will inevitably uproot this rigid concept of self. So by the time one ever thinks to apply the fifth strategy, which is of resolve, and of being able to say no to a pattern and bring in that energy of determination,. There's no, no, no self is being criticized. There's no aversion. There’s no hate. And so we only use it very rarely. We're training ourselves like you train a puppy.
