The Benefits of Short Interest in the Stock Market

I believe I heard in a previous interview you've done, it might have even been with us, that you exclude heavily shorted companies. Is that correct? Short to very good at ferreting out things that might not be obvious to long only investors like me. Heavily shorted stocks just don't do very well. They tend to underperform the market. But there are some smart shorts out there who figured something out about this business that I can't see from the outside.
