Is Real Food Better Than Supplements?

Gill: I don't think inherently there's necessarily a difference between real food and supplements. For some people, the longer you go, you know, into ultras and things like that, you're exercising at a lower percentage of your view to max. So i think they both their place. My only caution would be, there are studies that do suggest if you do not chew whole foods, like take nuts or granola,. If you don't chew and break it down enough and you swallow it, it takes longer for those things to empty from the stomach.
