Platonus' Problem of Evil Is a Problem About Causation
Platonus' most common example of something bad is not intentional evil, but ugliness. He rejects the Stoic conviction that all events are determined by an irresistible divine providence. For Platonus, our ability to transcend determination by physical causes is due to the immateriality of our souls.
