When i look back at any success you say i might have had, it goes back to that conversation. We ended up establishing this thing we call the centennial seven,. The first seven african americans that got to command sub rines in the first 100 years of our navy submarine service. And as such, we became mensers for many one of my best mentors was someone who gave me very tough feback.
